Go China!

Congratulations to the Chinese for winning gold in the gymnastics thing of the Beijing Olympics. People might be thinking that "Ohh. It's their hometown, that's why. Blah blah blah", shut it. The Chinese were amazing! My favorite was LingLing. Hands down. That little girl is a gold medalist in her own way. There stunts were AMAAAAAZING and their choreography on the floor was beauuuuutiful. Galing, galing talaga. I was watching from the first day up to the awarding, and I was cheering for them the whole time! Galing talaga. I was holding my breathe the whole time they were in the air, which was most of the time, and screamed every time they got it right, which was all the time. It was only this year that I had the sense what the Olympics was really about, because I was too young and naive to care about previous Olympics. The 2008 Beijing Olympics had everything that was needed to make people (considering that I am indeed something you can call human) interested about the event. The song, the jingles, the fireworks, nostalgia, and the pride that you're actually representing your country for something. It makes me so proud to be Asian! The Olympic Song ("Welcome to Beijing") is my official bathroom song for a month or two. How I wish I were an athlete. I'd be the one crying my eyes off if ever my team would win something in the Olympics, if ever we'd make it there anyway. Can't wait for more events. Asians will rule. Goodluck to the Philippine Team! Kaya niyo yan! Kuha kayo ng lakas kay Manny Pacquiao! ;)
