Isang malaking WTF

I was going downstairs to print my History Notes for Tuesday's exams, then I saw the newspaper near the mirror near the door. Tas I saw that article. Kita mo, si Noli at (what do you know..), Erap na pala ang gusto nila maging presidente para sa 2010 elections. I seriously want to slap the people who want Erap to win and become president. Pero who am I to slap? I'm still too young to even care about Philippine Politics. I am not at the right age to vote, nor have a say in any political matter concerning my homeland. Pero this whole "Erap is the 2nd best choice to be President according to this survey" is just insane. I swear on a butthole, talagang ang baliw na ng mga Pinoy. Okay, maybe that's taking things too far. But I don't see the whole point of trying to sugarcoat things any longer. Things are bad in the Philippines na. And what's even sadder is that people don't try to understand or try to appreciate what effort the present government is doing. Oh, you might go on saying na "Ganyan ka lang magsalita kase at least ikaw, nakakapag-internet pa. Nakakakain pa, nakakainom pa ng mamahaling kape. Habang ang ibang mga Pilipino, naghihirap nang di nakakain nang ilang araw." That's in fact, true. I still am lucky enough to have these things in my life. Those people who are in poverty have the right to be angry at the government. Pero ako, kahit papano naman, tumutulong naman. Gumagawa rin ako ng paraan para makatulong. Ang gusto ko lang sana mangyari, even if I know it is far from what can really happen, is sana naman, wag na magreklamo ang mga Pilipino. Imbis na mag-rally rally sa harap ng Malacanang, manahimik na kayo. Oo, siguro papakinggan kayo ng mga ilang Senador o officials with your pleas and your shouts. Maybe they will change some things when they see you really fighting for the things you believe in dun sa mga rally niyo. But who am I to judge? How would I know if talagang sincere sila sa mga rally, o nagpapansin lang? How would I know? Hindi naman ako sila. It just pisses me off to see that may sakit na nga ang Pilipinas, tas dadagdag pa sa sakit ng ulo sina Juan. It's so sad. I've always wished to live in another country, where people've told me that there ARE greener pastures, but I want to stay here. Gusto ko makitang umasenso ang Pilipinas. Gusto ko talaga. What is with Erap that people love so much? Odiba, halatang hindi ako Erap fan. I am not taking things personally, di ko naman sinasabing masamang tao si Erap. Pero HELLER NAMAN. Is it a hard thing to understand that once a person becomes president, he or she can't become a president again? Sabi don 16% said that Erap would be a good bet for Presidency. Sayang ang boto ng 16% na yon. Sana naglagay nalang sila ng ibang pangalan. Like, I don't know. Some celebrity siguro, para mas masaya. I know that this is just a survey, and maybe this is a whole PMS thing, but whatever. I wish a government official would take a time out of his job, look up Friendster, click the link of my blog in my Friendster page, and see this post. To that government official, whoever you are, I advise you to attend a History Class of Ma'am Ignacio dito sa UP. Patay ka don, babarahin ka non. Anu-ano na kase ginagawa niyo sa gobyerno.
